Vision

The vision of the Bel Air Middle School counseling program is that all students possess the knowledge and skills to achieve the highest levels of academic success. Our students Believe in themselves, Aspire to show growth, Make every day count, and Strive for success as they prepare for their crucial roles as tomorrow’s leaders. Students from Bel Air Middle School are well-prepared for their careers of choice and ready to embark on their future as lifelong learners and well-rounded citizens.

Mission

The mission of the Bel Air Middle School counseling department is to inspire all students to strive to reach their full potential through academic, career and social/emotional development to become successful college, career, and military-ready, well-rounded citizens. All students will have equal access to the Bel Air Middle School counseling program, which provides engaging developmentally appropriate activities including individual and small-group counseling as well as school counseling curriculum lessons. School counselors at Bel Air Middle School advocate for equity and access to rigorous coursework, opportunities for differentiated instruction, enrichment and collaboration, as well as fairness and respect for all.
